Burlington school pupils rear and look after chicks in school

CHILDREN at a Furness school have been celebrating some new arrivals this week.

Pupils at Burlington School in Kirkby have been learning how to rear and care for the chicks using an incubator.

Headteacher Jan Bath said: “It has been very popular with the children, parents and younger siblings.

“Every night there have been people coming in to check on them.”
