Published at 09:33, Monday, 23 May 2011
A MAN is due to go on trial today accused of the murder of his wife.
Sara Trelore, 44, died from stab wounds at the home she shared with her husband Russell Stephen Trelore in North Row, Barrow, on November 22, last year.
Trelore was taken to Furness General Hospital and treated for knife injuries.
A week later he was charged with his wife’s murder.
Trelore appeared at Preston Crown Court in February and denied the murder of Mrs Trelore.
Trelore, 49, is due to go on trial today at the same court.
